You will need:
-A clear plastic or acrylic rod (saber hilt)
-A LED light (preferably one that changes colors)
-A small switch
-Wire
-Battery
-Super glue or another strong adhesive
First, take your clear rod and measure it to the length you want your lightsaber to be. Cut it to size if necessary. Then, take your LED light and glue it to one end of the hilt. Make sure that the wire coming out of the LED is long enough to reach the switch.
Next, glue the switch to the hilt. You may want to place it near the other end of the hilt, so that it is easy to reach when you are holding the saber. Again, make sure that the wire from the LED reaches the switch.
Now, take your wire and connect the LED to the switch. Once the two are connected, close the switch so that the LED turns on. If everything is working correctly, the light should turn on when the switch is closed.
Finally, glue your battery to the hilt. Make sure that the battery is in the correct position so that the wires from the LED and the switch reach it.
